Anxiety, a workshop for kids @ MIA Liverpool Islamic Centre

Any extreme emotion can create anxiety

Everyone, from the youngest child to the oldest adult, experiences anxieties and fears at one time or another. Feeling anxious in a particularly uncomfortable situation never feels very good. However, with kids, such feelings are not only normal, they’re also necessary. Dealing with anxieties can prepare young people to handle the unsettling experiences and challenging situations of life. 

But when does anxiety become out of the ordinary? What kind of emotions do children display that can be considered as an anxiety disorder?

MIA LIverpool islamic centre has developed a new anxiety course for mothers and children. This workshop is designed for your child and an insight into what anxiety can mean for them! Interested? Check out the event details:
